Terms of Service
Last updated October 25, 2026
These terms cover buying and using an eSIM data plan from Storm SIM, run by Skydrop Labs ("we" or "us"). By buying a plan you agree to them. You pay from your Drop wallet, which has its own Terms of Service.
1. What Storm SIM sells
Prepaid mobile data plans, delivered as an eSIM: a digital SIM you add to your phone by scanning a QR code. Plans give you mobile data only; they don't include a phone number, calls or texts. The eSIMs are supplied by our eSIM partner and run on local mobile networks.
2. Before you buy
- You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding agreement where you live.
- Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Please check before you buy: a plan can't be refunded because the phone it was bought for can't use it.
- Check the plan covers your trip. Each plan lists the countries it works in, its data allowance and how long it lasts.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in US dollars. You pay the price the shop shows when you buy, in USDC or USDT from your Drop wallet. Prices elsewhere on this site are a guide and can be out of date.
- Your payment is a blockchain transaction. Once it is confirmed, neither you nor we can cancel or reverse it.
4. Getting your eSIM
Once your payment is confirmed, the shop shows your eSIM's QR code, plus the SM-DP+ address and activation code for adding it by hand. While you're signed in, the shop keeps showing your latest eSIM so you can come back to it. Keep these details private until the eSIM is installed: anyone who has them can install it.
If your payment goes through but the shop can't issue your eSIM, email support@skydroplabs.com with your transaction ID. We will either deliver the eSIM or refund your payment to your wallet.
5. Using your plan
- Data and validity. Data you haven't used when the plan's validity ends expires and isn't refunded.
- Coverage and speed depend on the local networks. We can't promise coverage everywhere in a country, or a particular speed.
- Unlimited plans may be subject to the networks' fair-use rules, which can slow your connection after heavy use.
- Your regular SIM keeps working alongside the eSIM. Turn off data roaming on it while you travel, or your own carrier may charge you for roaming.
- Use it lawfully and for yourself. Don't resell plans or use them for fraud, spam or anything illegal. We or the network may suspend a plan that is misused, without a refund.
6. Refunds
An eSIM is delivered the moment you pay, so plans can't be refunded once issued. The exceptions are an eSIM we couldn't deliver (see section 4) and any refund the law where you live requires.
7. Where Storm SIM is not available
You may not use Storm SIM if you are on a sanctions list, or if you are in, or acting for someone in, a sanctioned country or region (including Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia and Syria), or anywhere buying it is against the law. Don't use a VPN or anything else to get around this.
8. Our responsibility
Storm SIM is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or missed plans, and our total liability for a plan is the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live that can't be waived.
9. Disputes
If something goes wrong, contact us first; most problems can be fixed quickly. Any dispute we can't settle that way will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You and we each give up the right to go to court over it, and to bring or join a class action.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. A plan is covered by the terms in force when you bought it.
